I think I've received an email scam! Should I report it?
If you have received an email from someone you do not know and it sounds odd in any kind of way (maybe the language used is not quite correct), you should use caution before replying to it in any way. And you may want to report any suspicious activity so that other consumers are warned. We're including a few links with comprehensive information that is put out by the FBI to help you report potential scams and/or federal crimes.
We like the CFR website because they do a great job at reporting all types of potential and reported scams and fraud, while communicating in a way that we, the typical consumer, understand. Their homepage is at: http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org. If you have any further questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact us.
